Jerusalem Tours: Don't Miss Modern Jerusalem!
Jerusalem tours include far more than the Old City and the many Jerusalem holy sites.
It's understandable that when you tour Jerusalem, you'll start with them but don’t stop there! There is also a vibrant, modern city full of treasures to discover.

The String Bridge at the city entrance.
Stroll down Ben Yehuda Street on a Saturday night. Enjoy the street performers at the Arlov Mamilla Mall. Search out all the amazing trompe l'oeuil murals that decorate the city. Explore our great parks. And then ...
There are over 60 museums in our capital, that run the gamut from world-class archaeological exhibits to renown modern art collections. You won't want to miss the Israel Museum and its Dead Sea scrolls, nor Yad Vashem, Israel’s holocaust museum, set at the edge of the Jerusalem Forest.
Here are some more sites any visit to Jerusalem should try to include:- The Chagall Windows at Hadassah Hospital - Ein Karem
- The Israeli Supreme Court
- The Israeli parliament building, the Knesset, which is also home to more famous Chagall art work
- The Jerusalem monument to the victims of the World Trade Center
- The Jerusalem Zoo, with its stunning garden of sculptures by Niki de Saint Phalle
- Machane Yehuda, Jerusalem's open air market and its picturesque, historical neighborhoods, including Nahlaot
- Yemin Moshe, the first neighborhood built outside the Old City walls
- The Jerusalem Rose Garden
- Heichal Shlomo, the Great Synagogue
- Mount Herzl, the park surrounding the grave of Theodore Herzl, and the Herzl Museum
- The Menachem Begin Heritage Center, an educational memorial to the Nobel Prize winner and former Israeli Prime Minister
Of course, this is just a partial list. Turn any corner in Jerusalem and you're bound to discover something else wonderful. (Made a new discovery we haven't covered yet? Be sure to share it with us!)
